It’s a language workshop where you will practice Italian by playing a character in a theatre piece!

This is not a theatre class and it is not a language class. It is both!

We will play with the language whilst following an Australian couple on their imaginary journey in Italy. The main characters will visit many places and meet locals and try to solve some unexpected surprises along the way…

Do you love ANYTHING about Italy? Do you have some basic Italian knowledge? Have you ever wanted to try acting? Do you like to try new things or need to get out of your comfort zone?

Are you tired of learning by sitting down and taking notes??

Every week in Term 4 we will meet in a small group setting in Bentleigh.

Every class will start with some breathing and a mind and body warm up, just like real actors do!

All you have to do is come along with a good dose of enthusiasm, courage and an open mind!

This program will develop your creativity, self-esteem, and expression through an immersion into the Italian language. Each class is designed to increase confidence to speak, play with others and build a sense of belonging to a group.

You will absorb the language without having to do any study! All you will do is read, act, have fun, repeat! You will then memorize your lines and keep rehearsing.

This program is highly addictive and will increase your passion for all things Italian. Plus, you may find that the art of theatre works as a somatic therapy for any unresolved stored within your body.
